Off the heels of TNA Sacrifice, we look to continue with TNA Impact tonight and start to make headway with growing tension in the Knockouts Division.
The TNA Knockouts World Champion, Masha Slamovich, opens Impact tonight and says that despite NXT’s Cora Jade stepping up it just wasn’t enough as she retained on Sacrifice.
Tessa Blanchard comes out to mock the champion’s “easy win.” Just as she continues boasting, NXT’s Jacy Jayne attacks Slamovich from behind.
Santino Marella arrives and announces that next week Jayne and Slamovich will go one-on-one with Blanchard banned from ringside.
The NXT/TNA liaison Arianna Grace says that Jayne’s appearance was very much a “surprize” for her.
After Xia Brookside and Rosemary squared off last week, Brookside talks about getting misted for the disqualification. Brookside says she’s alright, and despite wanting to play fair she had to do something desperate.
Rosemary interrupts on the monitor and says that there’s a lot of rage within Brookside waiting to come out. She then dares Brookside to find a partner and meet in the ring tonight.
Brookside finds the perfect partner in Lei Ying Lee, and Rosemary teams up with Savannah Evans who has had problems with both members of the opposing team. Rosemary and Evans play in the face of Brookside, but The Angel of The Ring proves she can take them both on.
Lee gets the tag in but gets outpowered by the bigger Evans. Rosemary bends the rules a bit and now begins to punish Lee for her efforts.
After a hot tag, Brookside gets caught in between Evans and Rosemary. But, Rosemary miscalculates and mists Evans by mistake. Lee hits the Thunderstruck and her team is victorious.
Speaking of tag team action, the new TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Ash and Heather By Elegance celebrate tonight with their new titles. And it looks like they’ve hired some beef and some cake.
Ash wants her moment of silence so that she can make her wish. Before that can happen, the lights go dark and the Meta Four crash the party. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson say that they have crossed the line and have plans to take those titles.
The former champions, Spitfire, says that it’s nice to meet them, but say that they will have their contractual rematch for the titles. Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley of Chemical X also cross the line tonight and look to get some gold on themselves as well.
This party turns into mayhem and Marella comes out to clean up the mess. He sets up a match between The Elegance Brand and Chemical X next week. But, bars Meta Four and Spitfire from ringside. Marella is intimated by Legend, but Grace comes out to get some order.
