Former Divas Champion Alicia Fox is doing well!
Current AEW commentator Jim Ross posted on his Instagram last week that he had met up with the former WWE Superstar when the two met for breakfast. He talked about the meeting further on his podcast this week.
“We went to the TPC Country Club and had breakfast, beautiful, Sawgrass, you know, where they have the – I can’t remember the name of the tournament, but it’s huge, and it’s right down here from my house. She got a hold of me. She lives here; she is from Jacksonville. She is about seven minutes from where I live, she told me, and she has been clean and sober for three years, and I think it was probably as good a day as I could have had,” said JR. JR continues, “She was happy, she looked great, she is a beautiful woman, and she has got a great relationship with her boyfriend. We had a great long breakfast, talking about things. She is a keeper, and I’m so glad she is clean and sober. She is healthy. Yeah, she is really a beautiful person.”
Fox quietly retired from her in-ring career in 2019. Her last match prior to retirement was a tag team match on Main Event alongside Tamina where they faced The IIconics. Her last singles match was in April 2019 in a losing effort against Becky Lynch. She has returned for special episodes of Raw such as the Raw Reunion in 2019 and the Raw Legends Night in 2021.
Fox has participated in two women’s Royal Rumble matches since her retirement in both 2021 and 2022. In 2021 she became the 24/7 Champion during the match. In 2022 she lasted six minutes from the number 21 entry before being eliminated by Nikki Bella.
