WWE announced on their Public Relations Twitter page, that Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Joan Jett, will be performing Ronda Rousey’s theme live at WrestleMania. Rousey has been using “Bad Reputation” as her entrance music dating back to her time in Stikeforce and then UFC.
It is not often that wrestlers are allowed to use non company music, but they do tend to make exceptions. Another exception, was when they allowed CM Punk to use Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality. The band also played the song live for Punk’s entrance at WrestleMania.
WreslteMania is known for grandiose entrances to escort the superstars down that very long ramp to the ring. It is, in fact, The Show of Shows, so it’s the time for the best gear and best entrances that can be created. Since Jett will be performing Rousey’s theme, we can expect equally epic entrances from her opponents Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch as well.
As we announced yesterday, for the first-time ever, the women will be headlining this year’s WrestleMania. Keep checking back to Diva Dirt for the latest updates on WrestleMania weekend.
