Johnny Gargano recently returned to WWE and has his first match back on this past week’s episode of Raw. With Gargano back, women’s wrestling fans want to know what this means for Candice LeRae. The couple had their first child in February. Both LeRae and Gargano had let their prior contracts expire and LeRae has not made her return.
While being interviewed by Ryan Satin for Out of Character, Gargano was asked what he sees for the in-ring future of LeRae. He said the following –
“I think she’s not sure yet. Obviously, this is a whole new adventure for her – being a mom. And she is extremely happy being a mom. I don’t know, it’s one of those things where we’ll see what happens on a weekly basis. She is fully content staying at home with that baby. I think she is very very happy being a mom. Enjoying it to her extent. Like I said, you never know what happens when he gets older obviously. But for right now, especially for the first bit of his life, she is very very happy to be with that little dude right now.”
LeRae is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion when she won the gold with Indi Hartwell under The Way stable. She was with WWE under the NXT brand from 2018 until this year.
