Tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling provided us with a big glimpse of the Knockouts Championship picture. Former champion Tessa Blanchard wrestled Jordynne Grace in a match to determine Taya Valkyrie‘s next Knockouts Title challenger.
For several minutes, both women fought tooth and nail in an aggressive contest. All seemed evenly matched until Big Mama Pump dropped Blanchard on her neck with her signature Pumphandle Driver for the win.
With Grace still being relatively new to IMPACT after debuting last fall, this will be her very first shot at the Knockouts Championship. No details have been given yet as to exactly when that title match could take place.
It is worth noting that Grace will also be challenging for the Knockouts Championship at IMPACT’s United We Stand event as part of a Four Way match. Whether she will have a separate one-on-one against Taya for the title is unknown at this point.
If Grace were to win the Knockouts Championship from Taya, she would be a triple champion. She already currently holds the Progress Women’s Championship and most recently, the WSW Women’s Champion. Do you see a Knockouts Championship win in Jordynne Grace’s future? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments.
