IMPACT Wrestling has aired the Knockouts Championship title change this week which was taped on Jan. 18. In the main event of the show, longest reigning Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie took on Jordynne Grace. Grace would put away Valkyrie with a Grace Driver to pick up the win and the championship.
Valkyrie pulled out everything she had in her arsenal to try and retain her title. Even a Road to Valhalla on the stage couldn’t keep Grace down. Her right hand man, John E. Bravo also did everything in his power to try and help her retain the title as he always does. In the end, it wasn’t enough and Grace was victorious.
Valkyrie held the title for 377-days and defeated Tessa Blanchard to become champion in January 2019. This is Grace’s first title reign with the company. She joined IMPACT in 2018.
Both women commented on the title change on their Twitter accounts. Valkyrie would boast about her title reign whereas Grace simply said, “finally.”
Congratulations to Jordynne Grace on her victory. Leave your thoughts in the comment section below in regards to this match and title change.
