Current TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace has revealed when her current TNA contract is up. One of the most dominant women to ever hold the TNA gold spoke with Matt Morgan on his Gigantic Pop show.
During the interview, Grace stated: “I am under contract until January of this upcoming year. It’s coming up.”
Grace has been one of the most talked about talents in 2024. Not only has she defended the championship 12 times since defeating Trinity in January, she has bridged a relationship between TNA and WWE. She appeared in the 2024 Royal Rumble and has had a shot at the NXT Women’s Title against Roxanne Perez.
In addition to dishing out when her TNA contract ends, she says it was WWE producer TJ Wilson who threw her name out there to be the one from TNA to start the sharing of talent in WWE.
“Recently, I found this out. I found out that T.J. Wilson was actually the one who put my name in the hat during a creative meeting and I don’t think I’ve said that during an interview before because I just recently, like within the past month, found it out. But he had watched my match with Trinity at Hard To Kill and he watched that match and I think they were all discussing who to bring in because I don’t think they had any big surprises and he pitched me so, I haven’t got to thank him in person so, if you ever listen to this, thank you TJ.”
There is no word at this time if Grace has plans to re-sign with TNA or seek a home elsewhere. She has worked with TNA since 2018 and is a three-time Knockouts World Champion. She sits as second in history for the most combined days at 566, just behind Gail Kim’s 711.
