I am terribly sad to hear about the passing of Ray. She was always a joy to share a locker room with. Smiling, laughing and pinching my butt! Rest easy sweet soul. ??? pic.twitter.com/j1XteD6P9S

Deepest condolences to all family, friends, and co-workers of one of the most athletic performers ever to step foot in a SHIMMER ring, Ray. She was part of some of the most exciting bouts in our history, and we were very fortunate to have had Ray as part of the SHIMMER family. pic.twitter.com/v2gcA16Eyq

According to VoxCatch, she left the business in 2015 when a brain tumor was discovered during an MRI performed due to a concussion suffered during a match. As the tumor was inoperable, the wrestler had a radiotherapy-based training and had planned to return in May 2017, but her health took a turn.
Ray, born in Hong Kong, China, made the rounds in Japan at REINA, Ice Ribbon, Sendai Girls, and SMASH. She was also known in the United States where she performed for SHIMMER and in Mexico at the CMLL in 2011.
Diva Dirt sends their condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Ray during this difficult time.
