WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross offered up these positive comments about returning A-List Diva, Melina via his Twitter page:
Melina actually reminds me in some way of Trish Stratus which is a really good thing.
Obviously, just one man’s opinion but I’m sure it’ll lead to a great deal of contention in the comments. Personally, I can see where he’s coming from — Melina is as close to being a well rounded Diva as we have these days. From ring work, to character, to mic work, to popularity. However, whether she’ll ever be pushed to the stratospheric (no pun intended) heights as Trish was, is doubtful.
I’ve noticed that Melina is hardly ever used on promotional material in the same way Trish was and now, girls like Eve and Kelly are. Even Beth gets her fair share of pedigree — for example, the Future Hall of Famer trading card we posted last month, as well as being the first Diva to be made into a doll.
