Kacy Catanzaro has confirmed that she is currently injured. She posted on her social media that she has a partial LCL tear and she is working to come back as soon as possible. It is currently unknown how long she will be out of action.
Catanzaro has been in a storyline with the transformed Xia Li. In a full-circle moment, Li took out Catanzaro last week. Li appears to have her eyes set on Catanzaro’s tag team partner Kayden Carter next.
In last week’s match, Li won after she took out Catanzaro to the point that she could not compete. She stomped down on the knee of Catanzaro on the steel steps and then dragged her into the ring before the referee called for the bell. Catanzaro was wearing a brace on her knee heading into the match.
