KAIRI (Sane) took to her social media to state she would have a press conference and an announcement. Her announcement was an upcoming match at All Japan. She will team with Saori Anou to battle Unagi Sayaka and a partner on Sept. 8 for AJPW.
This news came right on the heels of PWInsider confirming that KAIRI has resigned with WWE and her return is “imminent.” Without an actual date that leaves a question mark on when it will happen.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer confirmed the rumors and that KAIRI will be returning to WWE but has some Japan dates to finish up. Meltzer adds, “maybe November.”
“She’s got two more dates in Japan I think she is scheduled for…she’s coming back.”
KAIRI left WWE in 2020 and returned to STARDOM in 2022. She previously worked in STARDOM for six years until she signed with WWE in 2016. She confirmed she was a free agent in March 2023.
