WWE Ambassador Kairi Sane is now a qualified ‘Sports Mental Trainer’. Sane took to Twitter to show her accomplishment, proudly stating she achieved her qualification on the first attempt.
Although Sane doesn’t name Hana Kimura directly as the reason for attaining the certificate, the mention of the “sad incident” and use of the pink flower emoji indicates that Kimura was her inspiration for doing so.
Here’s what the tweet read;
“In the wake of a sad incident of an important junior, I started studying if there was anything I could do or learn … I passed the exam safely and obtained [Sports Mental Trainer Qualification]. I was able to do it,”
Last year Hana Kimura tragically took her own life after suffering online bullying. The STARDOM superstar was only 22-years-old and touted as the future of Joshi wrestling.
Sane and Kimura were both in STARDOM at the same time and fought several times over the Artist of STARDOM titles. Kimura’s mother, Kyoto Kimura also battled Sane on several occasions in the Joshi promotion.
The qualification indicates that Sane will use it to prevent further tragedies in the future.
Kairi Sane retired from in-ring competition last year. The former NXT Women’s Champion and Women’s Tag Team Champion returned to Japan and became a WWE Ambassador.
