One half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kairi Sane, has notably been missing on programming as of late. During these unique times during audience free shows, Asuka has continued to carry the torch on both RAW and SmackDown. Her Kabuki Warrior partner has seemingly been away, but no explanation as to why.
It is being reported that Sane has been spending time in her home country of Japan. She recently got married and has been taking this time to be with her new husband. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported this and stated it was understood that Sane was going to have a few weeks away. This understanding was that she would return for the WrestleMania tapings which she did.
The Kabuki Warriors defend their tag titles against the team of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross which will be aired on one of the two dates this upcoming weekend. Asuka has been carrying the feud through Sane’s absence.
Sane’s last match was on March 9 in a tag team match with Asuka against Natalya and Liv Morgan. Prior to
