The Miami Herald has published an article on former Divas Champion Kaitlyn and husband PJ Braun‘s new business venture: the Boca Nutrition & Smoothie Bar inside the Busy Body Fitness Center in Boca Raton, Florida.
Speaking to the Herald, PJ explained their motivation behind opening the smoothie bar:
“We have our own supplement line and a built-in reputation in the industry. We wanted to have a place to sell our products and other products at a reasonable price, as well as smoothies. We also wanted a place to sell my wife’s clothing line. It’s nice to see it happen within such a short time frame.”
Kaitlyn’s fitness apparel line, Celestial Bodiez, launched last year. She told the Herald how their unique marketing strategy had brought the business success:
“It’s growing like crazy because we do all of our marketing through social media. That is how I’ve grown our entire business with my husband. We encourage girls to post pictures on Instagram wearing the pants. It shows them to join the movement and be proud of the way they look.”
Kaitlyn, real name Celeste Braun, also spoke about the perks of working alongside her husband:
“We are like constantly doing stuff. It’s nice to be able to have this kind of relationship because it’s not like I can’t work with him because we are together the entire day. We are best friends who have like minds, but are different at the same time. He is a very good businessman. I, on the other hand, my brain works the other way. So he helps me there. I’m more involved in the creative decisions. We are a dream team.”
