Kamille defeats Serena Deeb to become the new NWA Women’s Champion

Kamille is now the new NWA World Women’s Champion after defeating Serena Deeb at When Our Shadows Fall. The event saw these two competitors go at it for the first time and was a nice clash between a ring veteran and the future of the ring.

Kamille locked in a half-crab submission hold until she released it and delivered a spear to get the pin and the win.

This win for Kamille marks her first championship reign while ending Deeb’s reign at 222-days. Deeb held the title since October where she defeated Thunder Rosa at a UWN Primetime event. Deeb is currently signed with AEW.

Also at this event there was a match between Thunder Rosa & Melina vs. Taryn Terrell and Kylie Rae. Terrell and Melina started the match which were the two competitors who haven’t seen a ring in quite some time. For Terrell this was her coming out of retirement since 2017. Terrell focused on hitting the ropes and running from Melina before she could get Rae tagged in.

Melina and Rae then collided with some exchanges of wristlocks until Melina was able to tag in Rosa. Rosa started working over Rae with some submission moves along with concentrating on the arm. After some pinfall attempts Rae focused on Melina’s arm. Rosa delivered a huge dropkick on both Rae and Terrell. This was also a focus on Rae’s arm from earlier in the match.

Rosa picked up Terrell to take her to the back which resulted in Rae rolling up Melina in the ring with a handful of tights to get the pin. Rae and Terrell come out with the victory.

Kylie Rae made her return to the ring yesterday for the first time in nine months after taking a break from the industry. She was successful in her return match yesterday at Warrior Wrestling where she retained her title against Holidead.

Rae has now signed with NWA.
