Kay Lee Ray has officially hit 600-days as NXT UK Women’s Champion.
Ray has hit a milestone that no other woman in the modern era of WWE has. This includes Asuka who held the NXT Women’s Title for 522-days and had to relinquish it due to injury. She is only the third woman to hold this title following both Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm. Ray defeated Storm for the title at TakeOver: Cardiff in August 2019.
During her reign, there was a near six-month absence of the brand due to the worldwide pandemic. Since the brand has relaunched last September, Ray has defeated the likes of Piper Niven, Jinny, and Meiko Satomura. All of which many fans thought would take the belt off of the champion.
Ray added to her celebratory post today that she will be Forever Champion.
Who will be the one to eventually take the title off of her waist? Or will she actually be forever champion? She just might.
