Three-time and current WOH Champion Kelly Klein issued a statement today in light of the many accusations made against Ring of Honor by former employee Joey Mercury.
Mercury left ROH recently and took to Twitter to accuse General Manager, Greg Gilleland of not having the correct safety and injury protocols in place. Mercury would use Kelly Klein as an example, stating that ROH allowed her to fly and wrestle in South Africa with a concussion.
Kelly Klein would back up these accusations and issued a statement saying that she loves Ring of Honor and praised Joey Mercury for trying to make ROH a better place.
Klein’s husband and former ROH employee would also further weigh into the claims by saying everything was 100% true.
Ring of Honor has had a run of bad press recently but this looks particularly bad. There has been no official statement from General Manager, Greg Gilleland or the company.
