Here’s what you missed on the November 10 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Chelsea Green had one more crack at trying to end Mickie James‘ career, however it was no easy task. Deonna Purrazzo tried to interfere a few times, which led to her being ejected from ringside. Green managed to boot the ref at one point, which allowed Purrazzo to run back down. Taylor Wilde came out to make the save and sent Purrazzo to the back again. Mickie and Chelsea traded finishers until the ref was up. It all ended when Mickie countered a missile dropkick with a cover for the three.
Post-match, Purrazzo chased Green out to the parking lot. Green said she’s “going home” and walked off into the dark with her suitcase. While nothing is confirmed, it would appear Green has finished up with IMPACT for now and could be headed back to WWE with the emphasis on “home.”
Jessicka isn’t thrilled with her loss to Savannah Evans from last week. Rosemary advised her to save all of her emotion so she can release it on Tasha Steelz next week.
In the main event, Jordynne Grace put her Knockouts World title on the line against Gisele Shaw for the first time. Both women brought the physicality, which warranted a “this is awesome” chant from the Las Vegas crowd. Jai Vidal was at ringside for Shaw and was dropkicked by Grace early on. Shaw put forth one of her best performances to date in IMPACT, but it wasn’t enough to outlast the Grace Driver and subsequent three-count.
Post-match, Masha Slamovich re-emerged and made it known that she is far from done with Grace. After delivering a few chair shots, Slamovich hit Grace with Snow Plow onto a pile of chairs and hoisted the Knockouts title to close the show.
IMPACT will present Over Drive on IMPACT Plus a week from Friday on November 18. We now know Mickie James will go one-on-one with Taylor Wilde for the first time ever. It was previously confirmed that Death Dollz will defend the Knockouts Tag Team titles against Steelz and Evans. At this rate, we may see a rematch between Grace and Slamovich, but that has yet to be announced.
