Jordynne Grace is fresh off of her big victory from Slammiversary. She became a two-time Knockouts World Champion by defeating four other women in the first-ever Queen of the Mountain match. This took the gold off the waist of Tasha Steelz who held it since March when she defeated Mickie James at Sacrifice.
Now at Against All Odds on July 1, Steelz will get her rematch in singles competition against Grace.
On the June 23 episode of IMPACT!, Chelsea Green faced Mia Yim. Green had Deonna Purrazzo in her corner. The closing of the match witnesses Yim planting Green with a German Suplex resulting in a near fall. Yim goes up top but Purrazzo interferes and throws her off of the top turnbuckle. Mickie James comes rushing to the ring to even the playing field as she takes out Purrazzo. Yim hits Eat Defeat to get the victory.
From Slammiversary we have new Knockouts World Tag Team Champions by the name of Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie. The former champions, The Influence, struck a bit of a deal with Gisele Shaw. Madison Rayne is unable to compete as she has a broken nose following Slammiversary. She says it was Dashwood who collided with her that caused it. Shaw entered and Rayne seemed to like the idea of her taking her place for a tag title rematch if she can defeat Rosemary or Valkyrie next week.
