The Knockouts World Championship will be decided in a street fight on the March 18 tapings at South Philly Showdown. It will be a rematch for the title with Mickie James as the challenger facing the champion Tasha Steelz. Steelz became champion earlier in the month when she defeated James at Sacrifice.
The event will take place at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia. The tapings for IMPACT! will take place on both March 18 & 19 which will lead up to the next big pay-per-view Rebellion in April. At the time of this writing, no Knockouts matches have been confirmed for Rebellion.
Steelz will also be defending her title at GCW’s For the Culture against Big Swole on April 1.
James was also recently attacked by Steelz as she played a concert after last week’s IMPACT.
Other Knockouts news, on tonight’s IMPACT, Deonna Purrazzo is defending both her titles. Both the ROH Women’s World Championship and AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in a Triple Threat against Lady Frost & Gisele Shaw. Purrazzo will also have her Champ Champ challenge against an unnamed opponent at Multiverse of Matches on April 1.
