Kris Statlander, who made her return during the Arcade Anarchy main event two weeks ago, will be back in action for the first time since being sidelined with an ACL injury. The injury had her out for nearly 11 months and when she returned she targeted an old rival in that of Penelope Ford.
Since her return, she has aligned herself with Best Friends. She neutralized Ford by putting her through a table after Ford’s attempts to help out Kip Sabian and Miro in the aforementioned Arcade Anarchy match on the March 31 episode of Dynamite.
An opponent for Statlander has not been announced at this time.
However, this match announcement means that there will be two women’s matches on this week’s Dynamite. The other match is the highly anticipated one-on-one match between Red Velvet and Jade Cargill that has been brewing for weeks.
As for tonight’s AEW Dark: Elevation it was already reported that a big match-up between Thunder Rosa and Diamante is on the show. Since then Britt Baker has been added to face Skye Blue.
