Kylie Rae returned to the ring last night for Freelance Wrestling’s Game of Genders. It was announced via twitter that “Smily Kylie” Rae would be appearing in her first match since leaving AEW to face off against Isaias Velazquez.
She became a replacement for Shotzi Blackheart who was originally booked for this match but could not attend.
Kylie Rae makes her in-ring comeback in the company where she held the FW Championship for 77 days after defeating Velazquez ealier this year.
The last time we saw Rae was at AEW’s Double or Nothing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where she competed in a Four-Way match against Dr Britt Baker, Nyla Rose and Awesome Kong.
Rae looked to be one of AEW’s major stars but wasn’t seen on their shows after appearing at Double or Nothing. She subsequently then deleted her social media presence not long after.
At the All Out media scrum AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that he had granted her request to leave the company. After months of speculation surrounding her departure from AEW and unconfirmed reports that she was done with wrestling entirely, to see her return to the ring is a wonderful sight.
All at Diva Dirt are thrilled to see Kylie Rae back in the ring and doing what she does best, entertaining her fans.
