Kylie Rae retains title in Madison Rayne’s last indie match

As previously reported, Kylie Rae was set to defend her newly won Warrior Wrestling Women’s title this weekend against Madison Rayne. This was announced by Rayne as her final indie match. She has made it clear that she is not retiring from the ring, just ending her time on the independent scene.

The match took place on Saturday at Warrior Wrestling’s Stadium Series. Rae won the women’s title for that promotion a few weeks ago from Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard was the inaugural champion.

In what many are saying was a fantastic match, Rae retained the title. After the match, Rayne and Rae embraced as Rayne took her final bow. This definitely felt like a moment of passing the torch.

Rayne can still be seen and heard on IMPACT Wrestling as the color commentator. Hopefully, we will see her in a match on IMPACT in the near future.

Diva Dirt thanks Madison for providing many memorable moments in wrestling throughout the years on the indie scene.
