Since leaving AEW, Kylie Rae took some time off both in the ring and on social media before resurfacing on the indie scene. Most recently she made two appearances with IMPACT Wrestling.
Her first was at All Glory where she was in a triple threat match for the Zelo Pro Women’s Championship. The second was at Bound for Glory on Sunday where she participated in the intergender 20-person Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match.
Although Rae hasn’t been officially announced as IMPACT’s next Knockout for their women’s division, she reemerged on her Instagram for the first time since July.
Her post showed her entrance at Bound for Glory with the following caption:
“Strength made perfect in weakness” Thank you @impactwrestling
As a result of her return, IMPACT star Michael Elgin commented on Rae’s appearance with the company in an exclusive interview with Wrestling Inc. He spoke on a potential future Rae may have with the organization. He had the following to say:
“Oh my God, she’s so fantastic. The first time I ever dealt with her, I had actually booked her against one of my female trainees, and everything about her just screams star,” revealed Elgin. “Having her in a locker room, she’s pleasant and it’s contagious in a locker room. She’s uber-talented in the ring and she’s definitely somebody that I think would be great for Impact as a whole, not just in the Knockouts Division.”
