Kylie Rae made her in-ring debut for NWA at their pay-per-view When Our Shadows Fall this weekend.
Rae teamed with Taryn Terrell to defeat Thunder Rosa and Melina at the show. During the match, commentator, Joe Galli confirmed that Rae had signed a deal with the promotion.
Rae made her surprise return to wrestling when she was added to the card. Last year Rae announced that she was no longer a professional wrestler. The bombshell came after she no-showed IMPACT’s Bound for Glory back in October. Rae was supposed to face Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship but the match never took place.
It was reported that she was still signed to IMPACT during her absence but PWInsider’s Mike Johnson revealed that the two companies worked together to allow “Smiley” Kylie to join Billy Corgan’s promotion.
Rae returned to action this weekend for Warrior Wrestling in her first match in over eight months. She successfully defended the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship against Holidead.
