It is being reported that per Tony Khan, the President, and CEO of AEW, that Kylie Rae is no longer with the company.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, he asked Khan about the status of Rae. Khan responded that Rae is no longer with the company after she asked for her release. They granted the release and it was amicable.
Rae was last seen during AEW’s first pay-per-view Double or Nothing in May. She was in a four-way match with Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Awesome Kong (announced at the event). The match was won by Baker.
Since then she was scheduled to face Leva Bates at their second pay-per-view, Fyter Fest, but was replaced by Allie. At the time it was reported that she was out due to an undisclosed medical issue. Later it was said to be a possible concussion.
She recently deleted her Twitter account as well causing further concerns from fans.
Khan didn’t provide any further detail on why she requested her release.
Diva Dirt sends well wishes to Kylie Rae and hopes that all is well.
