The former Lucha Britannia World champion has done it again!
During tonight’s event titled ‘Cabaret Siniestro’, La Diablesa Rosa defeated Hombre Del Rocka to secure the title, yet again!
This is La Diablesa Rosa’s third time holding the British championship belt. Tonight’s win means that Rosa currently has the second most reigns, following quickly behind both Cassius and Santeria (whom are both tied at four reigns each).
Rosa was the very first woman to hold the title after having defeated Cassius in January, 2016. This win was historic as she had not only been the first female champion, but the first woman in Europe to win the title in a mixed gender match. She has then gone on to beat multiple men since this victory.
Rosa has made her name known around the UK independent scene. One of these other promotions include Pro Wrestling EVE, where is dubbed by her more regular name of Nina Samuels.
Samuels previously was seen on WWE as part of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds in an episode of Monday Night RAW.
In November of 2015, WWE offered Nina a tryout, where she competed alongside the likes of Jodie Champagnie, Toni Storm and Jessica Rose.
