Lady Frost is now added to the NWA Women’s Invitational which will be main eventing the NWA Empowerrr event on Aug. 28. She was already announced for the event, but now we know she will be in the gauntlet style match.
Not only will Frost be in the invitational but she has been announced as the woman who will start the match. She joins so far Tootie Lynn, Jamie Senegal, and Chelsea Green. The match will have a total of 10 women.
Also at Empowerrr, we will see the return of the NWA Women’s Tag Team Titles, NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille defend against Leyla Hirsch, and Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defend her title against Melina.
Lady Frost has confirmed she has suffered a slight setback as she has a minor injury to her ankle which happened at a Beyond Wrestling event on Aug. 5.
She was in a tag team match alongside her husband Victor Benjamin (known together as Pretty Proper) when she landed wrong after delivering a kick to her opponent. The match continued and Pretty Proper came out with a loss.
She confirms that her ankle may be dislocated but the good thing is there are no breaks. She intends to be back quickly. With the announcement today from NWA about Frost being the first one to enter the invitational at Empowerrr, it sounds as though she will be ready to go at least by then.
NWA sends their well wishes to Lady Frost and Beyond Wrestling also confirms there were no broken bones.
Other women’s matches that took place at the Dong Work For YUTA Beyond Wrestling event were:
Trish Adora defeated Alisha Edwards
Willow Nightingale defeated Davienne
Megan Bayne defeated Masha Slamovich
