Lady Frost reportedly offered a contract by IMPACT Wrestling

Coming from “somewhere cold,” it is being reported that Lady Frost has been offered a contract by IMPACT Wrestling according to Fightful Select.

Frost has certainly found herself as one of the top breakout independent stars of 2021. On the indie scene, she is often teaming with her husband, Victor Benjamin, as a team known by the name Pretty Proper. Frost has been popping up in various promotions including in NWA at the all-women’s EmPowerrr event, a couple of appearances for AEW on Dark, and has shown up in IMPACT on a few occasions.

Most recently, Frost took part in the Knockouts Knockdown Tournament for IMPACT where she lost in the first round to Rachael Ellering. She had her debut match in IMPACT against Deonna Purrazzo when she answered an open challenge for the Knockouts Championship in July. Frost took on Savannah Evans this past week. She has also been on WWE’s RAW where she worked a short match with Asuka in 2018 under the name Jamie Frost.

The report does not state if Frost has signed the contract and there has not been any confirmation from IMPACT or Frost herself at this time.

IMPACT reportedly wasn’t the only offer Frost has received. Fightful Select further states that NWA had made her a contract offer months ago. She has worked a few matches for the company and Fightful has been told the two sides negotiated but couldn’t come to terms on a deal.

Frost was recently interviewed by Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture. In the interview, Salcedo asked the question of if she had any conversations on coming into IMPACT full-time.

Frost responds, “There have been talks with numerous companies and some non-conversations with other companies. That’s what I will say. Some of them I think I decided that it wasn’t a good fit and others I’m still kind of waiting for. And that’s not to say that a different company isn’t a good fit. I am making the rounds everywhere and I’m not in a rush. I think it is important to be looked at the way you want to be seen. I don’t want to just want to get somewhere to say I got there and then I am someone different or I’m not being used the way that I want. I think that’s important right now and we kind of have that decision to make. So I’m kind of like here’s me if you want it and let’s see what you want to do with it. That’s where I’m at.”

IMPACT has recently just announced the singing of Masha Slamovich who appeared at Knockouts Knockdown in a losing effort against Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title. The contract was offered to Slamovich after her match but was not aired. It was announced a few days later that she had signed.
