Injuries are unfortunately a heavy topic right ow but there has been some updates on both former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan and AEW’s Women World Champion Jamie Hayter. The reports are coming from Fightful Select.
First, Morgan suffered a shoulder injury in the tag team championship bout against Damage CTRL a few weeks ago on SmackDown. Dakota Kai was injured in that same match and we know she will be out for at least nine months from a torn ACL which she has had surgery on. As for Morgan, it is being reported she will “at least be sidelined through the summer.” So it is unclear if she is required to have surgery but is intended to be out for several months.
Now as far as Hayter, she is legit hurt, but will still be competing this Sunday at Double or Nothing. She will be defending her championship against Toni Storm. Hayter has been battling her injuries for the better part of a month now and was recently pulled from a six woman tag match on Dynamite.
