On this past episode of RAW, Charlotte Flair faced Asuka in the main event. With the RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley at ringside, Flair knew that she had to keep her eye on her as well. Ripley was the catalyst who ended up costing Flair the match and Asuka won via pinfall.
After the match, Flair lost it in a fit of rage as she attacked the referee. A few other officials attempted to stop the onslaught by Flair but she continued to attack the referee that named Asuka the winner.
On RAW Talk following the show, WWE authority Adam Pearce announced that Flair was indefinitely suspended and would be fined $100,000. This incident happening not even a full two weeks after she returned from an absence seemed to be a strange storyline. According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT on Wrestling Daily, this was a way to write off Flair to get “some dental work sorted out.”
There is no word on when Flair will be back but the report states that she shouldn’t be gone for long.
