Lindsay Snow defeated two opponents in one night to win the Women’s Tournament at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. The tournament consisted of four fighters, Legit Leyla Hirsch, Killer Kelly, Allysin Kay and Snow.
Snow bested Kay in the finals of the first-ever women’s tournament to take place at Bloodsport. Kay was coming off a gruelling first-round match with Killer Kelly while Snow made quick work of her first opponent. Snow, therefore entered the fight with the upper hand.
The match would start and finish on the mat. Kay would attack Snow with a barrage of elbows but Snow would escape and lock in a kneebar for the victory and the trophy.
The first round of the tournament Snow met Hirsch while Kelly faced Kay. In the opening bout, Allysin Kay and Killer Kay put on a fantastic match. Both competitors went all out trading blows and submissions.
Kay would get the victory when she locked Kelly into a, particularly nasty triangle chokehold causing her to tap out.
In the other second-round match, Snow would face Leyla Hirsch. Both fighters went fierce and fast, trading strikes and takedowns. Snow’s experience prevailed and she locked in a leg lock for the victory.
This was a great show with three really good women’s matches taking place. All four women fought expertly and showcased themselves incredibly well on this hard-hitting, catch-as-catch-can wreslting platform.
