Liv Morgan has come so very close to almost winning the Royal Rumble match for two straight years in a row. But you know what they say, almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. In 2023 she entered in at the number two spot whereas she was in the coveted number 30 spot this year. Could 2025 be her year? Morgan hopes so.
In a recent interview with TNT Sports Morgan stated:
“It made me feel really special because number 30, that is a very coveted spot. That is the big surprise. That is like the anchor of the match, and so for it to be for a little old Liv Morgan, I appreciated it. I was happy that I was able to make that timeline to be recovered in time to participate in the Rumble. You know, last year I entered second and I lasted to the very end with Rhea Ripley and this year I entered number 30 and I lasted to the very end with Bayley. So I’m hoping next year is my year.”
Morgan also talks about that picture perfect moment after she was eliminated by Bayley which showed herself, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, and Jade Cargill.
She also spoke on Cargill which you can watch below:
Morgan still has a chance to make it to WrestleMania as she is one of six women in this weekend’s Elimination Chamber match. The winner will go on to face either Rhea Ripley or Nia Jax at WrestleMania XL.
