On this week’s episode of SmackDown Liv Morgan was one of four women to confront Becky Lynch.
Along with Bianca Belair, Carmella and Zelina Vega, Morgan fought for the opportunity to face Lynch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Morgan made it to the final two competitors but ultimately lost out on the title shot to the EST of WWE.
Despite the loss, Morgan is remaining positive and focused on the goal of one day becoming champion.
On the recent edition of Talking Smack, Liv Morgan revealed the words of encouragement The Man gave to her last year.
“100%. Do you want to know a little secret? When Becky left, I gave her a hug goodbye and she whispered in my ear, ‘When I come back, you’re going to be champion.’ I’ve thought about that every single day, and she’s back and I’m not champion. But I am so, so, so looking forward to proving her right, maybe not in her timeline, but I’m going to be champion, and I’d love to take it off Becky Lynch.”
