Liv Morgan has another mountain to climb at this Saturday’s Extreme Rules event and it will be a familiar foe – Ronda Rousey. This time though, it will be in an Extreme Rules match where anything goes.
Over the past few weeks, Morgan has been showing a more intense side as SmackDown Women’s Champion. She has already gone on record to say someone would have to kill her in order to take the gold away from her.
Speaking to Cageside Seats, Morgan seemed pretty determined that she will still be walking out of Extreme Rules as champion.
“There’s nothing that I won’t do. And I mean that so very genuinely. There’s absolutely nothing that I wouldn’t do. And there’s especially nothing that I wouldn’t do to keep this championship. Ronda’s gonna have to kill me. Like, I’ve said it before, but I just mean that so quite literally. You’re gonna have to get creative if you think anything’s gonna keep me down from keeping my championship,” Morgan said.
She continues, “There’s a passion about it. You have to love something with your whole entire heart and soul. And I don’t know how else to show my love for wrestling than to like show you guys that I will do anything for this. I will put my body through anything just so you could understand how much this means to me and how much I love this. I don’t know how else to really explain it more than that. It’s like, for you to understand what this means to me, I will roll through thumb tacks, on fire.”
Liv also spoke to Ryan Satin on Out of Character this week and stated she does not feel like the underdog going into this match. This type of match is something she will be thriving in.
Morgan is coming up close to 100-days as champion, will she be able to make it to that point or will Rousey take back the championship that Liv took from her at Money in the Bank?
