On the final SmackDown before Clash at the Castle, the SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan comes face to face with her challenger Shayna Baszler.
Kayla Braxton was interviewing Baszler backstage when the challenger stated she was going to make Morgan suffer and tear her apart limb by limb. Baszler says she is going to make Morgan cry and make her beg to take the title from her. Morgan would enter the interview and say that she will not tap out at Clash at the Castle. In fact, she plans to rip Baszler’s arm off.
Also on this week’s pre-taped SmackDown, Ronda Rousey had her final judgment after being reinstated from her suspension. She attacked a WWE officials during her loss at SummerSlam to Liv Morgan when the official did not witness Morgan tapping out before Rousey’s shoulders were pinned to the mat for a count of three.
The promo featured Rousey and WWE Official Adam Pearce. Pearce finally lost his cool when it came to Rousey and would end up calling her the single biggest bitch he has ever met. Pearce attempts to apologize but Rousey puts him in an armbar. She would eventually let go as Pearce crawled to the corner of the ring in pain.
Other women on tonight’s show were Maxxine Dupri, B-Fab, and Scarlett all accompanying their respective male counterparts to the ring.
This episode was taped prior to Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez winning the Women’s Tag Team Titles which is likely why they were not part of this show.
