On the Dec. 16 episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley came out (once again) to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. Ripley said she wanted to end this feud once and for all.
At the Netflix kick off show on Dec. 18, it was made official that the two will battle for the title on Jan. 6 – the day Raw moves to Netflix.
Morgan has held the Women’s World Title since May when she defeated Becky Lynch. Ripley never lost the championship as she had to relinquish due to injury earlier this year.
The two women have been feuding all year with Ripley attempting to get the title back on two separate occasions. Ripley lost to Morgan at SummerSlam and then at Bad Blood she won via DQ but of course that means that the title doesn’t change hands.
