The Nov. 4 edition of SmackDown kicked off with the No Disqualification Match between Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville. Deville started the match strong out of the gate with a right hand but this new extreme side of Morgan didn’t take long to fight back.
Deville would start the match with a kendo stick but Morgan would do a sneak attack off the ring steps to gain control. Morgan would eventually introduce a table into the match much to the delight of the crowd. The table spot was one of the biggest moments of the match as both women were on the ring apron hovering over the table. Deville was trying to suplex Morgan into the table but Morgan kept ahold of the ropes.
Morgan would fight back before eventually just giving in and they both came crashing down into the table. The final moments of the match involved a pile of steel chairs in the ring. Morgan would hit ObLIVion on the chairs to get the pinfall victory over Deville. Great match.
In a digital exclusive, Morgan was asked by Kayla Braxton how she feels after her brutal match. Morgan says she has never felt better as she laughed and smiled.
Emma returned to WWE last week in a shocking moment. She answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge and had a match with the SmackDown Women’s Champion. The first time Emma had been in a WWE ring since being released five years ago.
This week, Emma had a backstage interview with Megan Morant. Morant asked her how it feels to be back. Emma said she wasn’t sure if stepping back into a WWE ring was ever going to come again. She described how she felt when she answered Rousey’s challenge. Before getting too much into her feelings, Xia Li came in clapping.
Li says she watched Emma lose and the only thing she proved is that she is weak. Emma says that number one that was Ronda Rousey and number two – Emma knocked Li down with a forearm.
The second women’s match of the night was Natalya taking on Shayna Baszler. Baszler has seemingly picked who she was going to align with and it is no longer Natalya. It is Rousey. Rousey accompanied Baszler to the ring for her match.
The two put on a solid match that ended in Natalya passing out in the Kirifuda Clutch. After the match, Rousey wanted Baszler to deliver more pain to Nattie. Baszler exposed her knee and drove it into the face of Nattie giving her a bloody nose in the process.
Zelina Vega appeared in a promo with Legado del Fantasma as they send a warning to Shinsuke Nakamura.
And another vignette aired for the expected arrival of Sarah Logan.
