Lyra Valkyria is still the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion as she defeated Raquel Rodriguez on the March 24 episode of Raw live from Glasgow, Scotland. This makes Valkyria’s inaugural reign climb to 70 days plus.
The final moments of the match had Valkyria picked up off the ropes by Rodriguez who went for the Tejana Bomb, but Valkyria countered and rolled through to pin the tag team champion. Post match, Valkyria received a two-on-one beating by Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Bayley made the save.
Bayley will be the next opponent for Valkyria’s championship. The match date has not been made official.
