Madison Rayne returned to IMPACT just a couple of weeks ago and firmly aligned herself with Tenille Dashwood.
Dashwood has been in a rivalry with Taylor Wilde and Rayne returning is what she needed to give herself an advantage. For months on end, Dashwood has been looking for a tag partner and she may have finally found herself one. At this point, however, it was a one-on-one match between two veteran Knockouts – Rayne and Wilde. This took place on Friday’s IMPACT Plus Emergence event.
Wilde thought she had Rayne in this match after delivering her Wilde Ride finisher, but Kaleb with a K broke up the count. Dashwood then interferes and is able to get in a shot on Wilde. The numbers game got to be too much for Wilde as Rayne stacked her up to get the pin and the win.
Other matches that included the Knockouts at Emergence were two Mixed Tag Team Matches.
Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo and Matt Rehwoldt defeated Melina and Trey Miguel
The match concluded when Miguel wasn’t available for Melina to tag him in. Rehwoldt executed an inside cradle on Melina to get the victory for his team.
All four members of Decay competed in the ring together for the first time and successfully get a win over Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans, Fallah Bahh, and No Way. This was Evans’ first televised match since appearing in IMPACT. Despite Steelz and Evans losing in this Mixed Tag Team Match, Steelz does hold a win over Havok from this past BTI.
