Despite promoting a second annual women’s tournament, WWE has been mum on official details regarding the Mae Young Classic II.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in indie talent Xia Brookside, step-daughter of NXT trainer Robbie Brookside.
It was noted in the report that she canceled her summer tour after previously asking for more dates.
Xia is the current IPW UK Women’s Champion and she wrestles for various promotions including STARDOM, Pro-Wrestling EVE, RISE, and more.
