Jacy Jayne (formerly known as Avery Taylor) has made her NXT singles debut. She faced Franky Monet in a losing effort.
Jayne was signed with WWE in February and had a couple of prior appearances for the company. In 2020, she lost to Jessamyn Duke on the short-lived RAW Underground and in September she was involved in a Battle Royal that was won by Candice LeRae. She has done prior work with SHINE and EVOLVE.
During her match against Monet, Mandy Rose, who has taken residency on the NXT brand since last week, appeared at the commentary desk. She took a seat on top of the desk as she scouted the match. Last week when she returned to NXT, she watched Sarray take on Gigi Dolin. Monet has seemingly taken the spot of Aliyah in the Robert Stone Brand and seems to be taking charge with Stone and Jessi Kamea in tow.
What do you think is endgame for Mandy?
