Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke officially declared their spots in the upcoming 30-woman Royal Rumble match on this week’s RAW. With their announcement, they make a total of six women who have been named. They join Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and Bayley.
Both women have competed in all three prior women’s Royal Rumble matches. The best showing between the two of them was Rose in 2019 when she lasted over 25-minutes and as eliminated by Naomi.
The tag team of Rose & Brooke have spent several months feuding with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Last week, Brooke had a quick victory over Baszler. On tonight’s RAW, the two teams clashed once again. This time, Jax and Baszler picked up the win. Baszler tagged herself in just as Jax was possibly about to put away Rose. She locked in the Kirifuda Clutch for the submission victory.
The other women’s match that took place tonight was between Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans as they went one-on-one. Asuka nor Peyton Royce accompanied their tag partners. It seems as though Ric Flair is firmly now on the side of Evans. Last week he mistakenly cost Charlotte the match but this week it seems as though he helped Evans defeat his daughter. Charlotte was pinned by Royce last week and this week Evans gets the three count.
