E! may wanna think about adding a new cast member to Total Divas, because this is reality show fodder if we ever saw it!
Former WWE Diva-turned-Ring of Honor’s First Lady, Maria Kanellis — who was initially released by WWE in 2010 — claims the company made her an offer to return, but a certain Diva duo had her comeback nixed.
Maria claims the Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki, “made sure” she wasn’t offered a new contract in a series of scathing posts on her Twitter account.
The fiery redhead first wrote:
I was offered a @wwe contract and the Bellas made sure I didn't get it. I'm not bitter. I just don't like people that mess with my career.

The former Diva went on to respond to several fan questions, claiming she still has sources within WWE who informed her of the news.
In one response, she wrote:
“@bellamagicx: @MariaLKanellis but you said they were talented in your last Q&A?” I had to find the facts first. Now I have them.

Maria later ended the discussion by tweeting:
If you don't speak up, you are part of the problem. I'd rather be lady made than man made. #firstlady

As has been previously reported, Maria and a handful of other former Divas were approached about returning to WWE for a big WrestleMania match which was later nixed. (Ironically, the only Divas match on the card was also nixed.)
At the time, Maria said: “I did get contacted by WWE at the end of January, beginning of February, something like that, and for about a month, I was in talks with WWE. We talked about contracts, I had no problem with anything that was in the contract; but about a month after, they called back and said they weren’t moving forward with the storyline.”
Discussing rumors that the Bellas’ had her involvement in the bout nixed, she said: “I can’t imagine them being that immature to say something like that.”
No comment yet from Brie and Nikki.
