On the All Out pre-show, the AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May once again postponed her championship celebration. She wasn’t going to have it in Chicago where she claims nobody has ever been blown even though it is called the Windy City.
Instead, Chicago native Skye Blue was interviewed out on stage. Blue has been out with an ankle injury and appeared with crutches. May interrupted and the two traded words before the champion became physical and took Blue down. Queen Aminata made the save.
Blue has been injured since July 20 on Collision during a match against Hikaru Shida.
