Mariah May has done it! She has completed her journey and has become the AEW Women’s World Champion. “The Glamour” defeated “Timeless” Toni Storm at All In inside Wembley Stadium on Sunday to end Storm’s legendary reign at 281 days.
During the match, May was busted open on the steel steps from a Storm Zero. She even wanted to make sure that everyone knew she was the heel in this match by slapping her own mother across the face who was sitting in the front row. Mins Shirakawa was also looking on from the crowd.
Storm had the opportunity to use the heel of the shoe that May had used on her when the student turned on the teacher. However, Storm was filled with emotion which led to May countering a Storm Zero attempt into a pinning combination for the victory.
