There are rumors the Undisputed Era could add a new member. On the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer suggested there’s talk backstage about pairing Marina Shafir with the faction soon.
Meltzer contends if Shayna Baszler gets called up to the main roster, “The Supernova from Moldova” could join the group, allowing Jessamyn Duke to start a singles push. With Duke possibly striking out on her own, it couldn’t hurt to give Shafir the rub.
Even more, Shafir has worked mixed tag matches with real-life husband, Roderick Strong, as well as his stablemates at NXT live events. Notably, WWE has booked six-man tag matches pitting Marina and The Undisputed Era against the team of Mia Yim, Matt Riddle, and Punishment Martinez.
This is all just speculation for now, but it’s plausible. If Ronda Rousey takes a break, it could be the right time for Baszler to step up and fill her spot. So, WWE would need to make alternate plans for the other two Horsewomen.
