While The Miz is gearing up to face Edge at the Day 1 event, his wife Maryse has been a factor in their feud. The A-list couple will be present for the last Raw of the year and prior to the first pay-per-view in 2022. They will be renewing their wedding vows.
Maryse was a guest on The Cutting Edge on this past Monday’s Raw after slapping her husband the week before. The appearance was nothing but a setup for The Miz to get the upper hand on Edge.
During that segment, Maryse brought up Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix in the discussion. Phoenix recently took a step back as a commentator for the NXT brand to focus on her family. She was specific in saying she was still going to remain a part of WWE. Although nothing has been confirmed at the time of this writing, fan speculation is high on her being added to the storyline.

Fresh off getting the better of Edge on his own talk show last week, The Miz and Maryse are in a celebratory mood. They plan to celebrate their love in front of the WWE Universe as they get set to renew their wedding vows this Monday on Raw.
There is no telling what can happen when a wedding takes place in a WWE ring, but one thing is guaranteed: It will be awesome.
