Maryse made her first appearance on WWE television since she was last seen on Miz TV in April.
The former two-time Divas Champion accompanied her husband The Miz to the ring. This was The Miz’s return from his time on the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars. The couple came down to the ring to interrupt Edge.
As there was a storyline starting between The Miz and Edge, The Miz stated that Maryse is one of the greatest woman superstars in the history of WWE and that she is back. Maryse would take to the mic to defend her husband on Dancing with the Stars despite Edge reminding him he placed ninth on the show.
There has been no confirmation on if Maryse will be back weekly or if she will step back into the ring, but The Miz saying that she is back is a good sign. Her last match was alongside her husband at Hell in a Cell 2018 where they faced Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan. Could we be seeing her in the Royal Rumble?
