Masha Slamovich continues to prove why she is a rising star in the IMPACT Knockouts Division.
Thus far, Slamovich has defeated nine opponents before taking on any members of the Knockouts locker room. She made her tenth victim Havok in a shockingly quick victory over the former Knockouts World Tag Team Champion.
Heading into the match, Slamovich was undefeated while Havok was on a bit of a losing streak. The Influence got into the head of Havok last week telling her that if she and Rosemary wanted a shot at the tag team gold she had to prove she could win a match. Havok stepped up to Slamovich and the ending wasn’t in her favor.
Slamovich picked up the win after delivering the Snowplow. After the match, the male members of Decay joined Havok and Rosemary in the ring showing their disbelief. Masha walked up the ramp and to the backstage area with a smile on her face.
Also on this week’s show, Jordynne Grace took on Chelsea Green. The two had a relatively lengthy match with the storyline revolving around both of them being participants in the upcoming first-ever Queen of the Mountain match. At Slammiversary, Grace and Green will join Mia Yim, Deonna Purrazzo, and the Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz with the title on the line.
The final moments of the match had Green planting Grace face-first into the corner turnbuckle. Grace starts gaining steam on the offense as she delivers a spine buster. Green counters with a muscle buster and a flatliner to get a near fall. Grace finally connects with a Grace Driver to get the victory.
In a backstage segment, Deonna Purrazzo was being interviewed. Even without any gold on her shoulders, a sight rarely seen for The Virtuosa, she is still the face of the division. Much like many who enter into IMPACT, they go after her first and Mia Yim has been no different.
The Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz along with Savannah Evans interrupted. Evans will be taking on Yim next week and Steelz has invited Purrazzo to sit ringside with her.
